Waverly Church is a place where YOU belong. Our mission is to meet the needs of our community and to spread the Gospel to the lost. What do those things really mean? 

1. Well, we endeavor to do "good works" like participating in and hosting community events. We love being a part of Waverly and we want to do what we can to encourage and support our community. "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)

2. The Gospel is simply the good news about Jesus and His plan of salvation for us. We want everyone to know that Jesus saves! We believe in the working of The Holy Spirit in and throughout our lives, families, church and community. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." -John 3:16 (NKJV)
